Edgar actually started as just “Me,” Ed Contradictory, in the past. This made turning in him into a separate character a bit of a challenge, particularly when we both had to appear in the same strip, because, mustaches aside, we looked exactly the same. But giving him a new chin, better hair, and round sun-shaded bi-oculars eventually fixed the problem.
